Okay folks, here the story splits again as it did in past time. I am running now both LUCKY SAINT LUIS and a  solo production called "Harley Boogie" and rebuild under SLAVES UNITED the world rock programme with friends from Colombia in which we are going to show the material from "Hecho a mano en Colombia" and "Autenticos" and maybe some fresh material all in spanish language. I took that decision because my artist name is to complicated for the latin folks to remember and because I wish to show my world rock composals in a corporate image instead of a solo artist image. The evolution of the SLAVES UNITED will be exposed in its own webpages while sharing rights with others and in the "100% Lucky Saint Luis" situation becomes separated.

Furthermore I am testing some fresh artist and may produce this year one or two new talents under their own name hoping to be of assistance as a producer, arranger and musician. News about this will be published here.

Hola amigos, aquí mi sendero se divide en dos direcciones como paso en el pasado también. Entonces llevo dos programas, el de LUCKY SAINT LUIS con nueva producción como solista con nombre de "Harley Boogie" y con nombre SLAVES UNITED reconstruyo material de mi programa worldrock con amigos de Colombia donde se presenta material de "Hecho a mano en Colombia" y "Autenticos" y nuevo material tal vez. Tome esta decisión porque parecía demasiado complicado para los Latinos acostumbrarse a mi nombre y es mas justo incluso representar lo en imagen corporativo. Sobre la evolución en SLAVES UNITED y a partir de ahora se reporta en sus paginas respectivas. Mientras comparto allá derechos y mientras no se ha formado la banda en su totalidad es precioso separar lo del "100% Lucky Saint Luis".

A demás estoy probando nuevos talentos y puede que presento un o dos nuevos talentos este año en facultad de productor, arreglista, müsico y espero poder ser de utilidad de esta manera. Noticias pertinentes se publica aquí.

BCN. Nuevo año, nuevo proyecto. LUCKY SAINT LUIS crea nuevo CD en solitario "HARLEY BOOGIE" con miembros de USA, HOLANDA y ESPAÑA mientras sigue con sus amigos en Colombia bajo nombre corporativo SLAVES UNITED.

Nuestro padrino del world rock (rock mundial) crea su séptimo CD en honor al rock de la carretera y vuelve a sus raíces en compañía de otros grandes músicos olvidados por las modas.

Y el mensaje es obvio. Volver a la libertad del movimiento, sobre vivir en tiempos duros y liberarse de la matrix sin volverse terrorista.

Pide prueba como siempre. El CD sale en febrero y como dedico Lucky Saint Luis sus anteriores ingresos a los Latinos vulnerables dedicara estos ingresos a la ONG OVO para los damnificados de Colombia en concreto.

The managment of LUCKY SAINT LUIS in Spain (editor house Dimona) anounces a comeback tour in Colombia starting March 2011. New latin female singer ALMA has joined the next LSL project and after 3 years composing fresh material in SPAIN the german born musician will surprise after success of "Made by hand in Colombia" and "Lets get original" (both presented in spanish language) with asian elements fused into his unique concept of world rock.

"The next show is about Europe, Latin, Asian and US heritage melted into a concept of my personal world perception of art and living souls. Big fun is what you get and the african part is represented in those rhythm works of latin music"

The international community ASFAM (Family Asociated) with more than 8 million members voted on first place worldrocking LUCKY SAINT LUIS for outstanding tasteful music fusions between the cultures and for environment and human aid related poetry.
The german born composer and musician is joined by known dutch and colombian musicians and a exotic dance squad never before seen in such environment of musics.
Grammy award Gatewaymastering in Portland, US is going to mix the current CD "Made by hand in Colombia" and mayor music industries showing interest in a rebel who for 30 years refused comercial deal around art and message. Even more active in environment, human aid and evolution of the stucked development of democracies LSL never wanted to sit in line with the hops and flopps of popular fashion lists but to pin out that artists of any category are not limited to such non-human treatment of fashion makers.
There is no point in asking who came first but without doubt is Lucky Saint Luis to be considered father of world rock music due to a number of musical facts not met by others trying to open the gate to the term of rock and often completely missused.
Born in a small village close to Köln (Hennef), Germany, LSL was mentioned in press already in 1976, disappeared 1980 in his responsabilities as a student and other labour works and came back to music in 1988. Living in Spain by than he played with his natural nickname "Grischa" in a number of bands on Ibiza Island and on the spanish mainland, went to Asia and to Southamerica and increased his musical knowledge by living with all those folks during long term stay.
The list of famouse musicians LSL played with is endless long but only in live events where true skills are needed. He understands himselve more a live performer than a studio artist but there is no objection to be both.
The youngster do love him as much as the elder ones because he delivers hope and positivity by new means and even classified media returns many times to this overall educated artist risking his live against corruption in Colombia and suporting whenever possible NGOs in their labour for a better world.
The criteria of the ASFAM award took on account as much profesional play and message as also entertaining fun and choosed from 3000 groups and artists of international standing Lucky Saint Luis the representative artist and spokesman of the NGOs worldwide. Artists like Santana, Manolo Garcia, Mana, Carlos Vives, Black Eyed Peas, etc have been considered and disclosed for different reasons but mainly because of either musical limits or because of limits in message.
World get ready, LUCKY SAINT LUIS is coming like Dire Straits or like Steve Ray Vaughn did, coming out the blue for many and will remain as the remarkable personality he is.

Following the instruction of the artist Andrés El Fat Rodriguez, Andres Jaime Cano, Ivan Marín Diaz, Don Wielogroch, Remus Aussen and The Hola Girls to be mentioned always as memebers of the creative process for the coming CD and Tour "Made by hand in Colombia".
Pre sold already 400.000 CDs within the ASFAM comunity in Southamerica and Spain a number of 2 million CDs of this first release might be a realistic figure to start with.

THE PRESENT OR THE PAST

Lucky Saint Luis is as much a inovative project as it is the big part of european music history from 70s until today. First press who wrote about the guitar player and composer was germans music magazine "DAS DING" in 1978 when he presented his Hard Rock group from Cologne BISON MOVE. A long way gone in music, in life, in art, in business and in science related fields Lucky Saint Luis is called one of the most interesting persons to qualified journalism and media.

As performing artist Lucky Saint Luis took the desicion not to get comercial although he played countless times with his various bands, in jams or in "out of blue perfomances" . In 1980 he won a important prize of a german press after impressing in one of those famouse jams in EL PARAISO, Amsterdam. On stage with Frank Zappa, Herman Brood and all the cream of dutch, british, french and german musicians Paraiso and Melkweg in Amsterdam became heart and center of the european rock musicians.

Still a student he involved himself in the basic structures of environment, human aid and democratic developments and initiated a sequence of festivals across Germany where he met and exchanged with musicians such as Pat Travers, B B King, Johnny Winter, Brownie McGhee, Robin Trower, Molly Hatchet, Lynyrd Skynnyrd, etc etc

By the time he became profesional he kept playing but also suporting a number of other musicians and started teaching guitar play. Moving to Spain he played in Ibiza and Barcelona, recorded a number of songs with spanish musicians and di what all working musicians do: enjoying.

He plays the blues, he plays the rock, soul, funk, country, house, reggae, jazz, latin, punk, classic but he plays it in Lucky Saint Luis style with a very big tendency to electricity.

In 2002 he got stranded in Colombia and played with Andrés El Fat Rodriguez, Tavo, Pelos, Iván and Lot of Marca Pajaros.

He learned about colombian musicians and local musics and founded a live performance project under the name of ELFOS and presented in Bogotá and Bucaramanga. Since that time latin influences are strong ritmical influences in the music of Lucky Saint Luis.

Back to Spain he recorded material for 3 more CDs and invited famouse spanish musicians into his group in order to satisfy the european public. Again one of the largest civil movements declared Lucky Saint Luis worthy to represent the fusion between Southamerica and Europe/USA contemporaneous music and he won the first prize within a selection of more than 3000 groups or musicians of the spanish language. Santana, Mana, Juanes, Bunburry, Shakira, etc did not fulfil authenticity of latin and western heritage so Lucky Saint Luis is made the oficial cultural representative between both worlds to a community of 8 million people and growing.

COLOMBIA ESPECIAL

Dado a su fuerte vinculo con las culturas andinas por parte humanitaria Lucky Saint Luis empeña mucha voluntad a favor de Colombia y ultimamente también a Perú, Chile y Ecuador. Todo un experto reconocido en cuestiones latinas tanto como musico o como profesional es mayor su empeño que el de todos los políticos juntos. Insignificante en contexto de carera, de conciertos o de ventas de CDs dentro de Sudamerica lleva verdad y cultura de los pueblos humildes a la conciencia de europeos y gringos para disminuir la brutalidad de prejuicios y superficialidades culturales formados por el consumismo/materialismo hueco.

A pesar de tener agenda llena hasta inclusive 2011 se presentara en Bogotá, Barranquilla, Bucaramanga, Cali, Medellín, Lima, Trujillo, Cuzco, Santiago y Buenos Aires durante 2008 y de acuerdo con su discográfica.

Donde ya los conocieron en Colombia?

Una parte muy rudimentaria de la totalidad de las canciones conocieron por representar bajo nombre de proyecto: ELFOS en Crabs, Embrujobar, Santiamen, en el Cinderella y otros lugares de Bogotá, igual como en Viladeleiba o en Bucaramanga como invitados especiales al decimo aniversario de la radio cultural. Nada mas un proyecto improvisado y en circunstancias poco favorables dejaron LSL y sus comapañeros diversos la huella de la felicidad, de la admiración y del baile entre rock n roll y la salsa. Memorizado en el CD "Hecho a mano en Colombia" pueden escuchar esta navidad muestras del disco por internet y por medio de la pagina web oficial.

Palabra privada de Lucky Saint Luis

Hola a todos. Espero poder saludaros en vivo y en directo tan pronto posible y sobre todo en Sudamérica para llevaros a mi mundo donde no existen fronteras, razas, colores de piel ni prejuicios y menos la pereza. Servir al mundo en multiples aspectos ha sido mi camino desde nacimiento pero la musica siempre fue mi servicio preferida. Nunca edite discos y he preferido el contacto en vivo para ver los rostros del público y por camino recorrido soy uno de los veteranos europeos quienes más presentaron en vivo desde clubes hasta estadios con 70.000 personas. Pero con las aplicaciones del internet las cosas cambian y ya no necesitamos sumergernos al dictado de industrías y del marketing quienes matarón hasta la honda chevere de los 70 y quien me conoce sabe de mis rebeldías contra las sociedades huecas.
A pesar de que se llena el internet con grabaciones caseras, mediocres y aburridas he encontrado hasta yo talentos quienes viven el rechazo de las industrias y del periodismo y son pero de lo más excelente y muchas veces superiores a los productos comerciales de moda. Y de este modo nosotros también subimos la una u otra cancion de 3 discos actuales como material histórico sobre mi trayectoria en el mundo de los artes para que tenga mayor cantidad de público aceso a algo que podia llenar libros o colecciones.
Mi corazón esta en el blues, mi pies en las musicas latinas, mi musculos en la energía del rock y mi descanso en la belleza armónica de todas las expresiones musicales y como os gusta variedad de músicas a mi me gusta hacer las tan personal como me es posible y veros rumbeando y saltando sobre ello hora y media hasta agotamiento.
Samba, salsa, son, reggae, rock, rock n roll, blues, funk, jazz, árabe, hindu, kumbia, vallenato, house, hip hop, country.... escogo lo mejor de todos los sitios y creo algo nuevo de acuerdo con la expresión de mi interior en letra y música. No soy el musico típico porque tengo otras herramientas de expresión humana ni me busco la fama (ya me encontró ella) donde cientos de miles de humanos la merecen también.
Muchos de mis maestros o ídolos son mis amigos en carne y hueso o en el alma y aprovecho la ocasión de expresar mi profundo gratitud a Johnny Winter, Rory Gallagher, Frank Zappa, B B King, Pat Travers, Robin Trower, Manolo Díaz, Mark Knopfler, Roy Buchanan, Scott Henderson, Joe Satriani, Hans Henkel, Billy Gibons, Peter Frampton, SRV, Ed Stallman, Johnny Guitar Watson...... e incontable lista de musicos alemanes, britanicos y latinos, admirables todos por arriesgarse con propio estilo.

Grundsätzlich gehen wir davon aus, dass Ihr ein wenig englisch versteht und auch in englischer Sprache kommentiert. Leider können wir die spanischen Kommentare nicht übersetzen, wie ebensowenig die deutschen, also ziehen wir uns auf das kleinere Übel zurück und verbleiben hauptsächlich in englisch.

Der hier angelegte Block ist Nebenseite der ofiziellen web von LUCKY SAINT LUIS und dient dazu mehr Nähe zwischen Musikern und Muiskfans herbeizuführen.

Da die Deutschen kaum stolz auf ihre eigenen Landsleute sind und noch weniger unterstützen wundert es nicht, dass deutsche Musiker und Interpreten im Ausland wesentlich bekannter und erfolgreicher sind als im Land des Meckerns und der Eifersüchte. Fest steht jedoch, dass LUCKY SAINT LUIS mehr für das deutsche Ansehen weltweit unternimmt als andere ofizielle Vertreter.

Dabei seit der myhtischen Bewegung der 70er in Köln dúrfte es vielleicht aufschlussreich sein zu erfahren was denn nun so aus den einzelnen Musikern geworden ist und wie es jenseits der deutschen Grenzen ausschaut. 8 millionen registrierte Fans aus dem spanischen Sprachraum deuten ja nun auf etwas hin und was da gerade ein deutscher Rockmusiker mit seiner Gitarre anstellt, dass sollte man sich doch vielleicht etwas näher anschauen.

Entender desde primera mano como fue y como es el mundo detrás de los escenarios, como se sienten los musicos y con que tipo de frustraciones deben manejar es entender el impulso energético acompañando la creatividad humana.

En todo caso LUCKY SAINT LUIS es mucho más que solo un interprete conocido sino un conjunto de musicos famosos alemanes y españoles procedentes todos de la cúpula histórica de su ambiente y con la agenda llena hasta el año 2011.
